Grade Dispute

1. Complete the Grade Dispute Form;
2. Include the course instructor's written rationale as to why the grade will not be changed; 
3. Email the form including the instructor's written response to the Department Chair to help find a resolution:
   • Chemical Engineering: Dr. Nolan Holland at n.holland1@csuohio.edu
   • Civil Engineering: Dr. Lutful Khan at l.khan@csuohio.edu
   • Computer or Electrical Engineering: Dr. Hizlan Murad at m.hizlan@csuohio.edu
   • Computer Science: Dr. Haodong Wang at h.wang96@csuohio.edu
   • Mechanial Engineering: Dr. Yongxin Tao at y.tao19@csuohio.edu
   • Mechanical or Electronics Engineering Technology: Dr. Michael Adams at m.adams@csuohio.edu
4. If the grade dispute is still not resolved, the student must email the Grade Dispute form including narratives from instructor and the chair to the College Petition Committee for review at impt.engr.info@csuohio.edu.

When a resolution to change the grade is found either at the instructor or chair level, then a grade change form is to be submitted by the instructor. Grade Disputes must be submitted no later than the last day of instruction for the semester immediately following the semester the course was taken. For example, the end of Spring term for a disputed grade in a Fall course.
