Undergraduate Studies

Cooperative Education Program

Students are strongly encouraged to participate in the engineering co-op program because of the many benefits it affords. Students must complete CSC 121 Career Orientation before they enter the program. The course is scheduled during the second semester and co-op sessions usually begin after their second year of study.
Some of the benefits of co-op include:

  • Students learn important work ethics while gaining professional experience
  • Students make connections between theory from the classroom and practice on the job
  • Students earn semi-professional wages to help pay the cost of education
  • Interested students should contact the Career Coordinator for Engineering:

The Fenn College of Engineering maintains an extensive Co-op website with a wealth of information regarding this program. Students are encouraged to visit this website and meet with Sandra regarding their career interests and objectives.
