Description

The Department of Environmental & Civil Engineering offers an accelerated program that enables students to earn a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree as well as earn graduate degree credits toward a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering.

Undergraduate students who are accepted into the Accelerated Master's Program (AKA 4+1) prior to Fall 2024 may earn a maximum of 12 master's credit hours, that will count toward both the undergraduate and graduate degrees.

After Fall 2024, you may earn a maximum of master's credit hours, that will count toward both the undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Only grades of B or higher can be transferred to the graduate record.

NOTE: Undergraduate students can earn up to a total of twenty-one (21) master's credit hours prior to their completion of undergraduate degree. Remember, ONLY twelve (12) (or nine (9) after acceptance in Fall 2024) of the twenty-one (21) will be counted toward both the undergraduate and graduate degrees. Seek email permission from contact person listed below to approve the additional nine (9) to twelve (12) master's credits.
