Chemical Professor to speak at the CCR NIChE Workshop
Dr. Orhan Talu, Professor in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering is one of nine invited experts in the field from all over the US to speak at the CCR NIChE Workshop "Measurement Needs in the Adsorption Sciences" hosted by the Council for Chemical Research (CCR) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). His topic is "Role of Thermodynamics in Adsorptive Gas Storage Applications".
The workshop identifies areas of high uncertainty, recognizes opportunities, and stimulates new ideas-information that will accelerate the development of new measurement technologies and methodologies. It will also focus on metrology needs in the areas of adsorbent characterization, gas storage and separations.
