Computer Science Program Achieves ABET Accreditation

The CSU Washkewicz College's Computer Science program is only the second in Northeast Ohio to achieve ABET accreditation.

"When choosing an engineering or a computer science program, students should investigate first of all whether the program is accredited, particularly ABET-accredited. Many employers look for a degree from a properly accredited program," says Professor Chansu Yu, chair of CSU's Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department.
