Dr. Lili Dong, an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, has received $140,000 for three years from the Air Force Office of Scientific Research through Youngstown State University for the project entitled “Assured Digital Microelectronics Education & Training Ecosystem.” The major goal of this research project is to provide training and research guidance to students on electronic printing. Dr. Dong and her team will develop training materials and sessions to prepare undergraduate and graduate students for future careers in additive manufacturing of micro-electronics. In addition, Dr. Dong will direct undergraduate and graduate students to perform electronic printing-related research, including application-oriented printed sensors at milli-meter or micro-meter scale.
