MCE Student Receives NSF Graduate Research Fellowship
It pays not only to be a successful student with a high GPA, but also to network and develop meaning relationships along the way.
Mechanical Engineering student, Ms. Kyra Rudy was recently awarded a fellowship with the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP). In addition, she was offered graduate admission, with full funding, to two notable institutions.
Ms. Rudy attributes her success to, recommendation letters from acting chair, Dr. Antoine van den Bogert. She said to Dr. van den Bogert, "your recommendation was an integral part of my successful applications and I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to write these recommendation letters and for believing in my potential."
We congratulate Kyra Rudy all the students graduating from our programs pursuing graduate degrees and starting their careers in various fields of Engineering.
