Applied Data Science Research
The ADS specialization of the PhD in Engineering program is a joint doctoral program between Cleveland State University and the Cleveland Clinic, Akron Children’s Hospital, and expected to extend with University Hospitals, and VA (Veterans) Hospital in the region.
The ADS PhD specialization program is to apply concepts and methodologies of AI, Data Science and Computer Science to solve challenging research problems in medicine, biology, public health, and biomedical engineering and sciences. The program solicits applicants with strong data science, computer science, and statistics/mathematics background as well as backgrounds in multidisciplinary fields such as medicine, biology, chemistry, and biomedical engineering and sciences.
