CLEVELAND – The Cleveland State University esports program recently welcomed students from the Cleveland High School of Digital Arts to the campus lab. The high school team visited CSU just before their regional final competition—which was also hosted at Cleveland State—to get some dedicated coaching from our roster.

The lab was fully active for the training session, with all five gaming setups running simultaneously. Eight collegiate Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players spent the time mentoring the visiting students.

By playing through a wide variety of character matchups, the CSU players helped sharpen the skills and strategies of the Digital Arts team right before their big matches.
