CSU Competes in OCEC Tournament

CSU's Rocket League team placed 2nd and its Valorant team placed Top 4 at the first-ever Ohio Collegiate Esports Classic in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Cleveland State University’s varsity esports teams traveled to Columbus over the weekend of October 18th to represent the university at the first official Ohio Collegiate Esports Classic (OCEC).

The OCEC is a new, exclusive tournament that brings together top-tier Rocket League and Valorant teams from colleges and universities across the state.

Both CSU teams had a fantastic showing against a competitive field of Ohio-based opponents. The CSU Rocket League Varsity team battled through the bracket to secure an impressive 2nd place finish, while the CSU Valorant Varsity team also had a strong run, earning a commendable top 4 placement.
