CLEVELAND – The CSU esports arena is starting the semester with a significant new look. Thanks to a series of recent upgrades, the space has been enhanced to better serve Cleveland State's growing competitive and casual gaming community.

The improvements, which were rolled out over the past few weeks, touch every part of the lab. Key additions include:

  • A brand new, dedicated station for Super Smash Bros.

These enhancements are not just cosmetic, they are designed to streamline the player experience and support the program's expansion. A new check-in system is now in place: students can sign in at the door, fetch their peripherals (like keyboards and headsets) from the new cubbies, and return them when finished.

The upgrades were a true community effort, made possible by the hard work of everyone who came in to help set up the growing space. Thanks to their dedication, the new-and-improved lab is now open and ready to welcome all of CSU's students.
