CLEVELAND – The Cleveland State University esports lab was the center of the Midwest's Super Smash Bros. community as it proudly hosted Midgard Mayhem #12. The event, a signature tournament for the region, drew a crowd of 70 attendees, including both players and spectators.

Competitors from all over the Midwest gathered to compete in high-stakes singles and doubles brackets for a total prize pool of over $1,000.

The competition was fierce, culminating in a dramatic grand final. The champion, a player known as “Dice,” successfully defended his title, securing his second consecutive Midgard Mayhem victory in a tense 10-game series.

CSU Esports extends a thank you to all the players, staff, and spectators who came out to support the event and contribute to its success. The program looks forward to hosting the next installment of the popular tournament series.
