CSU Hosts Esports Ohio Regionals for Over 30 High Schools

CLEVELAND – On February 21st and 22nd, Cleveland State University had the honor of hosting the Esports Ohio Regionals. The massive two-day tournament brought together high school teams from all around Northeast Ohio to compete and showcase their skills on a collegiate stage.

The event featured dedicated brackets for several popular titles, with teams competing in their respective games including Fortnite, Overwatch, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Valorant, and Rocket League.

With over 30 different high schools in attendance, the participating teams enjoyed a great weekend filled with challenging matches, high-level gameplay, and fun conversation with fellow competitors.
