Engineering a Victory: Will "Riolu" Strayer Steps Up for Smash Bros. Team
CLEVELAND – Cleveland State Esports is thrilled to spotlight one of its newest competitive talents, Will Strayer. A freshman from Perrysburg, Ohio, Strayer is a mechanical engineering major who has quickly become a key player for the university's Super Smash Bros. team.
Known by his alias “Riolu,” Will began the season as a substitute. When the team needed him, he was called upon mid-semester to join the main roster and rose to the challenge. Playing his main character, Min Min, Will made an immediate impact, with the team crediting him for making "incredible plays" and being a vital addition to the starting lineup.
When he isn’t competing, Strayer’s interests reflect his analytical mindset. He enjoys making art and the complex challenge of solving cryptography puzzles.
The program is excited to have him on board and grateful for his hard work and dedication. Welcome to the team, Will!
