CLEVELAND – Cleveland State University Esports is celebrating the achievements—and mourning the departure—of two of its most influential figures. Michael Berkley and Sagan Woolner, both key pillars of the community, are set to graduate this December as part of the Class of Fall 2025.

Both students hold a special place in the program's history, having been part of the team since its inception in 2022. They didn't just compete; they helped build the program from the ground up.

Sagan Woolner has been a dedicated competitor on the Overwatch team. Beyond the server, Sagan played a crucial role in shaping the culture and structure of CSU Esports over the last few years, helping it grow into the varsity program it is today.
