CLEVELAND – Cleveland State Esports is giving a warm welcome to Vamsi Seegichetla, a new member of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate team.

Known as “CookieVKS,” Vamsi grew up in Brunswick, Ohio, and comes to CSU with an impressive academic record, having graduated with honors from both Brunswick High School and Tri-C. He is now a full-time student at CSU, majoring in Graphic Design and already looking to add another major.

While his interest in art is self-taught, Vamsi says his passion for it developed immensely during the pandemic, serving as a creative outlet that helped him cope with the isolating nature of online schooling.

His talents are not just visual, Vamsi was also a part of the marching band in high school. His wide range of hobbies includes baking, crafting, clothing making, writing, and, of course, playing video games.

The program is excited to welcome Vamsi Seegichetla to the team and hopes he has a great time as a new member.
