CLEVELAND – Cleveland State University Esports is shining a spotlight on a player who is making major moves both on the digital field and in the financial arena: Tymir Jones, known in-game as “CIPROCATE.”

A junior majoring in Finance, Jones serves as the captain of the Rocket League Varsity team. While his leadership in the server is well-known—highlighted by a stellar debut season where he won both Rookie of the Year and MVP—his recent off-server achievements are making national headlines.

Jones was recently recognized as the #1 earner for the CSU Esports Team through NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) in the entire nation. through his efforts, Tymir secured $2,000 in earnings, directly helping to raise essential funding for the esports program.

When he isn't managing team finances or scoring goals in Rocket League, Tymir enjoys basketball and video games, and has a strong passion for streetwear fashion.
