CLEVELAND – Cleveland State Esports is celebrating a major individual achievement from one of its veteran players. Matthew “Zekuu” Lam, a senior from Parma, Ohio, recently helped secure a dominant series win for the League of Legends team.

During the match against Ohio Wesleyan, Lam achieved a massive pentakill—one of the game's most difficult and exciting accomplishments—leading the team to a 2-0 series victory.

Lam, a Computer Science major, is a key member of the team. In addition to his in-game skill, he contributes to the team's physical and mental wellness. His hobbies include lifting and drinking boba, and he also assists in managing workout routines for his teammates, promoting a healthy balance between gaming and physical fitness.

The program is glad to have Matt on the roster and is looking forward to the next "penta!"
