Welcome to the Washkewicz College of Engineering. Founded as Fenn College in 1923, the College of Engineering has since maintained its fine reputation for educating skilled engineering professionals. We are proud of our students, faculty, staff and alumni whose accomplishments and achievements have contributed to the tradition of being a prominent engineering college in northeast Ohio and the nation. We're excited about our new 100,000 square foot building addition to the Washkewicz College of Engineering. The building opened for classes spring 2018 (east end) and spring 2019 (west end).
The College offers BS, MS and PhD programs in many engineering fields. Faculty members are highly qualified and active in teaching, research, advising and professional services. Our students have access to all the services they need to succeed, such as advising, mentoring, and tutoring (with engineering peer teachers). Students can enrich their classroom experience by participating in our accredited co-op program, honors program, leadership program, research with faculty, and many extracurricular organizations and intercollegiate technical competitions. Over $800,000 in scholarships are given annually to our engineering students. Our computer facilities, teaching and research laboratories are all first-class. There are plenty of hands-on, real world problem solving, and team work opportunities. Our alumni and industrial partners have been extremely supportive and share with us our mission and values.
Join a community of excellence where we focus on providing value to our students through social mobility and value to Cleveland through economic impact and improved quality of life.
