Welcome to the Washkewicz College of Engineering. Founded as Fenn College in 1923, the College of Engineering has since maintained its fine reputation for educating skilled engineering professionals. We are proud of our students, faculty, staff and alumni whose accomplishments and achievements have contributed to the tradition of being a prominent engineering college in northeast Ohio and the nation.  We're excited for our new 100,000 square foot building addition to the Washkewicz College of Engineering. We cut the ribbon in December 2017.  The building opened for classes spring 2018 (east end) and spring 2019 (west end).

The College offers B.S., M.S. and Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering degree programs in several engineering fields. Faculty members are highly qualified and active in teaching, research, advising and professional services. Our students are very highly selective and well diversified. They enjoy a great variety of student services such as advising, mentoring, counseling, active student organizations, honors program, co-op opportunity, career planning, scholarships and financial aids, leadership program, research with faculty, and many off-campus activities such as internships, Engineers without Borders, community services and intercollegiate technical competitions. Our computer facilities, teaching and research laboratories are all state-of-the-art. There are plenty of hands on, real world problem solving, and team work opportunities. Our alumni and industrial partners have been extremely supportive and share with us the same value and missions which we subscribe.
