According to the 2015 almanac of The Chronicle of Higher Education, CSU was ranked #1 in the country for the greatest increase in federal research spending on science and engineering between FY 2004 - 2013, up 684%. This recognition is especially important as these grants are made by blind peer reviews. CSU was also ranked #1 in the country for greatest increase in total research spending on science and engineering, up 298%, and #12 for the greatest increase in corporate research dollars spent on science and engineering, up 459% (see attached chart).
