Currently Enrolled Scholarships

Once students are enrolled in the Washkewicz College of Engineering, they have even more opportunities to be considered for college and departmental scholarships! 

Merit Awards

Each spring, the General Scholarship Application is available to all currently enrolled rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors. This is a single application that is for various scholarships based on academic performance, major, special interest, professionalism, leadership, and/or need. A FAFSA must be on file to accept Merit-based Scholarship Awards. Scholarships may be renewed annually based upon requirements and eligibility.

The General Scholarship Application is available HERE from January 15 – May 15, 2026. Award Notifications will be sent by early summer.

Summer Awards

The WCE Summer Scholarship is available for Summer 2026 to support juniors and seniors on their continued progress to degree completion. Eligible students may receive $1,000 in financial assistance towards the cost of a Summer 2026 course. Requirements include Summer 26 registration, cumulative GPA of 2.75 or above, good academic standing, 50+ credits (junior/senior standing) and completed application. 

The WCE Summer Scholarship Application is available HERE from April 1- May 1, 2026. Award Notifications will be sent prior the start of summer session.

Emergency Awards

The Washkewicz College of Engineering One-Time Fund provides financial assistance to undergraduate engineering students experiencing an unexpected, time-sensitive financial emergency that may impact their ability to remain enrolled and continue progress toward degree completion.The One-Time Award Application is available HERE. Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis.
