Freshman and Transfer Students

Washkewicz Scholars Program - Freshman Only

• For new students (Freshman Only): You must be admitted to CSU and plan to pursue an undergraduate degree from the Washkewicz College of Engineering.
• If you are a high school applicant, and you are able to provide ACT or SAT test scores, a minimum 23 ACT composite score or an SAT combined critical reading and math score of 1070 is preferred.
• Must have a completed 2025-2026 FAFSA on file at CSU and evidence of financial need.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien.
• DEADLINE: February 11th, 2025 by midnight. 
• Scholarship applicants will engage in an interview process in March and be notified no later than April 15 if they have been awarded the scholarship or not. 

Please Note: The total annual amount of the Washkewicz Scholarship will 'fill the tuition gap' after all other CSU Scholarships and Pell Grant funds have been applied to the tuition cost.

New Incoming Freshman Engineering Students 

• All accepted-to-CSU freshman students are eligible to apply.
• Majority of the awards are renewable.
