American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (SGA)

The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics’s (AIAA) vision is to be the shaping, dynamic force in the aerospace profession – the forum for innovation, technical excellence, and global leadership. Our mission is to address the professional needs and interests of the past, current, and future aerospace workforce and to advance the state of aerospace science, engineering, technology, operations, and policy to benefit our global society.

American Institute of Steel Construction (SGA)

The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) is a national organization that represents steel construction. AISC host several conferences, competitions, and events throughout the year at different places in the United States. One of the main events in this organization is the steel bridge competition for students.  

American Society of Mechanical Engineers (SGA)

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) promotes academic and technical advancement among its members and works to create an environment of social interaction with an emphasis on teamwork.

Intellectual Property and Technology Association (SBA)

Intellectual Property and Technology Association (SIPLA) is concerned with IP law relating to such areas a copyright, trademark, and patent law.

National Society of Black Engineers (SGA)

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is a student-led organization that seeks to support and promote the aspirations of collegiate in engineering and technology. The NSBE mission statement is "to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community." Throughout the year, we strive to plan events and activities that fulfill the three key points of our mission statement, while supporting our members in their academic and professional goals.

Phi Sigma Rho Sorority (SGA)

Phi Sigma Rho is a social sorority for women in engineering and certain STEM fields. We are 29 active members strong and are the grateful recipients of the 2020-2021 Diane Dillard Student Organization of the Year Award. We have two recruitment opportunities during the academic year: one in the Fall and one in the Spring.

Sisters In STEM (SGA)

To unite females in STEM to create an inclusive environment for all to make long-lasting relationships and professional connections.

Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SGA)

The Society of Asian Scientiists and Engineers' (SASE) mission is to prepare Asian heritage scientists and engineers for success in the global business world, celebrate diversity on campuses and in the workplace, and provide opportunities for members to make contributions to their local communities. SASE membership is open to students of all ethnic backgrounds.

Society of Automotive Engineers (SGA)

The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) provides students with the practical application of classroom principles as they compete to design, fabricate and race an off-road vehicle. Contact us to join us for our meetings!

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SGA)

The Mission of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) is to empower the Hispanic community to realize its fullest potential. SHPE aims to have an impact on society through STEM awareness, and by providing access, support and development resources to its members. This organization is open to all those who value and support its mission.

Society of Women Engineers (SGA)

The Society of Women Engineers' (SWE) mission is to empower women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering and technology professions as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity and inclusion. The SWE vision is a world with gender parity and equality in engineering and technology.

Tau Beta Pi (SGA)

The purpose of the Tau Beta Pi is to mark in a fitting manner those who have conferred honor upon their alma mater by distinguished scholarship and exemplary character as undergraduates in engineering, to foster a liberal culture at CSU, and to perform service for the school.

Women in Engineering (SGA)

Women In Engineering (WIE) is dedicated to promoting women engineers and scientists, and inspiring girls around the world to follow their academic interests in a career in engineering and science. Our goal is to facilitate the recruitment and retention of women in technical disciplines globally.
