Travel Information

Domestic Travel

IRES students will travel to Cleveland for pre-departure preparation and go back their home city after the post-travel work. Travel arrangements will be managed by the CSU project coordinator and a preferred travel agency. Also, IRES Students will be strongly encouraged and supported to present their research in a professional conference beyond the IRES program. The conference travel support is up to $500 per person.

International Travel

Each IRES student will need a valid student visa to conduct research at POSTECH. The IRES program will help students prepare the necessary paperwork for getting a visa (single entry) to enter South Korea.

IRES students will travel in a group with one US faculty mentor from Cleveland to POSTECH to conduct summer research. The economy round-trip air tickets will be booked by the program coordinator and a travel agency. Bus, train and Taxis will be organized for transfer between the Inchon international airport and POSTECH.
