Training for the CNC machinery is offered through the ACE Program (America’s Cutting Edge), which is a nationally recognized program funded by the U.S. Department of Energy to strengthen America’s industry workforce. The ACE training explains the core principles of CNC machining, machine operation, and the best manufacturing practices in a real-world training environment. 

Why Machining Bootcamps?

Participants gain practical skills for high-demand jobs. Whether you are just starting a new career or building your skills, the ACE bootcamp provides the knowledge to further opportunities in advanced manufacturing.

Training Format

ACE is a 40 hour program consisting of:

Online InstructionHands-on In-class/machine learning

  • Self-paced
  • 8 hours worth of training
  • Must complete before participating in hands-on bootcamp
  • No cost ($0)
  • 32 hours worth of training
  • Located at CSU's Advanced Manufacturing Center
