Computer Science and Data Science for All

At CSU’s Department of Computer Science, we believe that technology should be accessible, impactful, and transformative. Our programs are designed to cultivate creativity, critical thinking, and real-world skills that empower students to build a better future. Undergraduate Programs

Undergraduates in the Department of Computer Science can pursue a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a Bachelor of Science in Data Science. Students interested in the field and want to expand their knowledge and skills may also choose to minor in Computer Science

Integrated Degrees

The Department of Computer Science offers multiple Integrated Degrees for undergraduate students. An integrated degree at CSU is one degree that combines two interdisciplinary majors or focus areas. It is a combination of two existing majors into one degree.

Accelerated Master's Program

The Department of Computer Science offers an accelerated program that enables Computer Science students to earn a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree and a Master of Computer Science degree in five years. The Accelerated Master’s Program is designed to attract the best current undergraduate students. The program is designed for students who demonstrate an interest in, and ability for, additional education beyond the bachelor’s degree.

Graduate Programs

Graduate students may pursue a Master of Computer Science or a Master of Science in Software Engineering. For our doctoral programs, the Department offers a PhD in Engineering specializing in Computer Science, and a PhD in Engineering specializing in Applied Data Science.

Certificate Programs

Graduate students can strengthen their knowledge and skills in Computer Science through our graduate certificates in Cybersecurity Technology and in Software Engineering.
