Our three student teams: Euclid, Prospect, and Chester, participated in the 2024 ICPC programming contest at Youngstown State University.  All three teams successfully solved at least one challenging problem in the contest.

Team Euclid (Fabio Hinojosa, David Skocic, and David Awake) solved 2 problems.
Team Prospect (Steve Charles, Evelyn Landis, and Nabeel Mesh) solved 2 problems.
Team Chester (Adam Carbone, Tim Vrobel, and Veer Gaudani) solved one problem.

International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC): The ICPC Contest has been in operation for over 40 years. In the past 20 years, the ICPC community has spread across the globe, with 49,935 students from 3,098 universities in 111 countries competing in the 2017 Regionals. Over 30,000 students represented their universities in on site competition which enhances the reliability of measuring performance while expanding their network of future friends and colleagues. This year, our three CSU teams participated in the regional contest (East Central Region of North America), along with Northeast region and New York region.  The top 3 teams of each region will advance to the World Final contest, which will be held in summer 2025.  This is the first time that all three CSU teams successfully solved at least one problem.  Congratulations to our CSU coding heroes
