How to Apply

Applying to the Human–Machine Systems Graduate Traineeship involves two parts:
(1) applying to a CSU graduate degree program, and
(2) letting us know you are interested in the traineeship.

Follow the steps below to get started:

1. Apply to a CSU Graduate Program

Visit the CSU Graduate Studies application portal and submit your graduate application:
https://www.csuohio.edu/international-admissions/graduate-application-steps
During the application, indicate that you are interested in the Human–Machine Systems (HMS) Graduate Program.

2. Email Us to Express Your Interest

After submitting your CSU application, contact our team so we know to look for your materials:

Please include:

• your name
• the graduate program you applied to
• a brief statement that you wish to join the HMS traineeship

3. We Will Follow Up With Next Steps

Once we receive your email, we will:

• confirm your program fit
• share information about funding opportunities
• guide you through any remaining steps
• add you to our applicant communication list
