Washkewicz Scholars Program


Choose Ohio First Scholarship Program


Rebecca Bompiedi On-Campus Residency Endowed Support Fund

  • Demonstrated financial need
  • Live in on-campus housing
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Satisfy at least 15 credit hours each semester (fall/spring)
  • Award up to $1500

Washkewicz College of Engineering FIRST Robotics Scholarship

  • Must be directly admitted into the Washkewicz College of Engineering
  • Must have participated in FIRST Robotics Competitions as a high school student
  • 3.3 cumulative high school GPA
  • Minimum 24 ACT score
  • 2 awards of $2000 annual
  • Renewable for up to 3 additional academic years, provided student maintains a 3.0 cumulative GPA and remains in good academic standing in the college

Community College Transfer Scholarship

  • Awards up to $2000
  • Undergraduate only
  • Renewable for an additional year provided student maintains a 3.0 GPA
  • 3.0 or higher GPA from a community college in math and science coursework
  • Sponsored by Parker Hannifin Corp.

Frank J. Ambrose Scholarship

  • Must be directly admitted into the Washkewicz College of Engineering
  • Minimum score of 24 ACT or 1090 SAT
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA above a 3.0
  • Renewable for up to six additional semesters, provided full-time status and good academic standing are in effect
  • Full in-state tuition & fees 

The Edward F. Bell Memorial Scholarship

  • Must be directly admitted into the Washkewicz College of Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering Major
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • 3.3 cumulative high school GPA
  • Minimum 25 ACT score
  • Preference given to students from Cleveland Metropolitan School District and Inner Ring Suburbs
  • Renewable provided student maintains 3.0 cumulative university GPA and good academic standing
  • Award amount up to $10,000 (half fall/ half spring)

Richard L. Bowen & Associates Scholarship

  • Must be directly admitted into the Washkewicz College of Engineering
  • Must have a major related to Bowen & Associates scope of business (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical)
  • Preference given to dependents of Richard L. Bowen & Associates employees
  • Preference given to students with demonstrated financial need, academic promise, and who plan to reside on campus for their entire undergraduate experience at CSU
  • Must have and keep a 3.3 or higher GPA for renewable tenure (up to four years) and maintain good academic standing
  • Covers, tuition, books, room & board (net of Pell Grants and any additional scholarships received

William R. Hill Scholarship

  • Must be directly admitted into the Washkewicz College of Engineering
  • Demonstrated academic achievement and show promise for completion of baccalaureate degree
  • Award may be up to $5000
  • Renewable for up to three additional years, provided student remain in good academic standing

Michael D. Pollock Scholarship

  • Graduated from a Fenn Academy partner high school
  • Declared major in the college of engineering
  • Freshman applicants should have an ACT score of 24, upper-class applicants should have a GPA of 3.0
  • 2 reference letters are needed from a teacher, school administrator, or professor speaking to your academic and leadership abilities
  • Current or former member of the Boy Scouts of America, or similiar leadership organization

Felicia Peters Pollock Scholarship

  • Graduated from a Fenn Academy partner high school
  • Declared major in the college of engineering
  • Freshman applicants should have an ACT score of 24, upper-class applicants should have a GPA of 3.0
  • 2 reference letters are needed from a teacher, school administrator, or professor speaking to your academic and leadership abilities
  • Current or former member of the Girl Scouts of America, or similiar leadership organization
