Washkewicz Peer Teachers

The Washkewicz Peer Teachers (WPTs) are an organization of fellow students dedicated to helping their peers build a strong foundation of engineering and computer science knowledge so that they can excel in their coursework and future careers. The program's services are split into two branches: the Engineering Peer Teachers and the Computer Peer Teachers.

Engineering Peer Teachers

The Engineering Peer Teachers (EPTs) provide mandatory Recitations and optional Session for many core engineering (ESC) and computer science (CIS) courses. EPTs work closely with the professors and students to ensure the students learn and understand the material. Computer Peer Teachers

The Computer Peer Teachers (CPTs) provide 1-on-1 teaching services for all students taking programming classes at CSU. CPTs cover topics including (but not limited to) debugging, homework, and programming concepts in languages including Python, Java, C, and MATLAB. If you need help, let us know on Discord (for quick questions) or sign up for a 1-on-1 session here (it only takes a few clicks). Get Involved

If you enjoy helping your fellow students, learning, and developing your presentation skills, consider applying to be a WPT! We usually start hiring for open positions after midterms, but we encourage you to reach out to one of the Coordinators (below) at any time for more information if you are interested.
