The Council for Chemcial Research (CCR) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) are hosting the CCR NIChE Workshop on "Measurement Needs in the Adsorption Sciences," in Washington, DC, November 5-6, 2014.
We are very proud to announce that our own Dr. Orhan Talu has been invited to provide his thoughts on standards and measurement needs and challenges in adsorption area. They have gathered experts in the field from all over the US and it is nice to have Dr. Orhan Talu as one of the invited speakers.
This topical workshop on the standards and measurement needs and challenges
in this arena, will inform the research and standards activities of the laboratories in the field. This workshop will identify areas of high
uncertainty, recognize opportunities, and stimulate new ideas-information that will accelerate the development of new
measurement technologies and methodologies. The workshop will focus on metrology needs in the areas of adsorbent
characterization, gas storage, and separations.
