The Washkewicz College of Engineering originated as Fenn College, a private institution founded in 1923, and has enjoyed a reputation for excellence even before the founding of Cleveland State University. The Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering at CSU offers an undergraduate and graduate programs in both Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering.
