Washkewicz College of Engineering

Students will concurrently work for a specific partnering company in a specialty position and receive pay and skills training while earning their degree. Additionally, our team offers crafted support such as workshops on career development topics and workforce readiness skills. ELITE seamlessly blends academic coursework with a career building opportunity with a local employer.

Requirements

Maintain good standing with the University with a 2.0 GPA minimum
Strong class attendance
Workshop attendance
Maintain work-related documentation
Maintain meeting schedule with Program Manager
Follow expectations agreed on between student and company (e.g. safety codes, uniform requirements, performance plan)
2,000 total hours over 4-5 years
