Alex Roth, a Chemical and Biomedical Engineering doctoral student, was selected as Senator of the Year by the Student Government Association (SGA) at Cleveland State University.

Alex is serving on the Cleveland State University's Student Government Association (SGA) as the 2014-2015 Graduate Senator representing the Washkewicz College of Engineering.  His senator projects include working with both the College of Graduate Studies and College of Engineering on resolving issues such as graduate assistantship pay schedules and student/employee health insurance plans. Alex also serves on the SGA Finance and Public Policy Committees, the University Tobacco Policy Task Force and Parking Advisory Committees, and RTA Student Advisory Council as a CSU representative for the Greater Cleveland Area.
