Biomedical Engineering Students develop New Technology
The Office of Research recently approved the filing of a provisional patent toBiomedical Engineering Students Chris A. Gliniecki, Chantale A. Salem, and Craig T. Fisher. A Medical Device they designed under the "Venipuncture Aid Project," will assist nurses and other healthcare practitioners to gain intravenous access more easily and with less discomfort to the patient.
