Dr. Chelsea Monty-Bromer Receives Phase 3 Award
The TeCK Fund selected the CSU submission by Dr. Chelsea Monty-Bromer, an associate professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering, for funding. This project, titled Vertically Stacked ZRA Sensor Array for Real-time Water Quality Monitoring, will help validate an innovative and reliable approach to monitoring water quality in freshwater systems to help prevent illness and death for both humans and animals. One key focus of the vertically stacked zero resistance ammetry system will be on phosphate monitoring. Phosphorous is known to be the primary cause of algal blooms but the process is unclear.
Contact Jack Kraszewski for information regarding the TeCK Fund and technology transfer.
